Worried about your new electric car’s battery life expectancy? You’ll be glad to learn that the Kia warranty protects your battery and powertrain components for up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Although a full breakdown of the 2024 Kia EV9 range estimates is not yet available, we’ve already seen some very impressive numbers. More to the point, we do know that the Light Long Range RWD configuration will offer a Kia-estimated range of up to 300 miles. That’s more than enough range to travel from Cary to Greensboro, Charlotte, or even Virginia Beach—all without stopping to recharge.
Of course, you will still need to charge up eventually. When that time comes, you can take advantage of this SUV’s Level 3 DC Fast Charging capabilities to take your battery from 10% to 80% in minutes: just 24 minutes, to be exact!
You’ll also have access to slower public Level 2 charging stations near Raleigh and Durham. If you’re looking for more convenience, Kia can even help you set up a Level 2 charging station at home.
