The New Kia Logo Ushers in Exciting Changes

Is there a new Kia logo? For some, it might seem like this question has been floating around for a few years. As of January 2021, the answer is yes! We can’t think of any better way to usher in a new year than with an exciting Kia logo change. The new Kia logo is merely a launchpad for a new era of forward-thinking automobiles, making its debut on the all-new 2022 Kia Carnival. Hendrick Kia of Cary gives more insight into the updated Kia logo and the upcoming Kia Carnival, below.

Why Did the Kia Logo Change?

Is there a reason behind the Kia logo change? According to Kia’s president and CEO, Ho Sung Song, “Our new logo represents our desire to inspire customers as their mobility needs evolve, and for our employees to rise to the challenges we face in a fast-changing industry.”

Kia is committed to innovating for the future, and the new Kia logo is the perfect way to represent that. Rather than falling behind in a fast-paced industry, Kia aims to be at the forefront of the changes to come.

What Does the New Kia Logo Look Like?

Most drivers in North Carolina are highly familiar with the old Kia logo they’ve seen on Raleigh and Durham streets: an oval shape with “KIA” block letters stamped in the middle. On the new Kia logo, the oval outline is gone, leaving a minimalistic “KIA” script in its place with the three letters joined together in flowing symmetry. The overall appearance of the modern Kia logo is an ideal visual representation of the brand’s new slogan: “Movement that inspires.”

When Will We See the New Kia Logo on Cary Streets?

You can expect to see the new Kia logo on Apex streets very soon! The modernized Kia logo will debut on the all-new 2022 Kia Carnival, slated to arrive at U.S. dealerships sometime in the second quarter of 2021.
